I don’t know of many home businesses that are based around the premise of teaching people how to become financially free. How to escape the rat race and quit your day job if you so desired. To succeed in any form of business you have to 100% believe in what you’re doing. If you work in small business and you’re not fully committed to what it is you’re trying to achieve, you’ll be peddling backwards right from the start.

An important question you should ask yourself before starting a home business, is, ‘How am I adding value in my business?’ Now let’s discuss this further, just what is adding value? I mean truly adding value… Does a stockbroker add value by recommending a share to buy, charging you a brokerage fee, only to see the share go down in value? Does an Accountant add value by preparing your tax return without legally reducing your tax liability any further than you could have yourself? NO! By adding value I mean, only charging for a service when the recipient actually receives a benefit from that service.

Let me provide an example...Lets say a stockbroker only charges brokerage fees when you actually make a profit on a trade or an accountant only charges a fee if they reduce your tax liability legally more than you actually could have yourself.

Suppose you purchased some stocks or shares from your broker based on their recommendation. Say you purchased $10,000 worth of shares. Assume for a moment it was the policy of the broker to only charge you a brokerage fee upon you making a profit on the trade, the trade they recommended. If this was the case, they wouldn’t charge you brokerage upon purchasing the initial parcel of shares. But suppose now, you sold those shares one month later and made a profit of 20%, so you sold the shares for $12,000 (a 20% profit on top of your $10,000 investment). The broker may then have a policy to receive 10% commission on whatever profit you make. The total profit you’ve made in this instance is $2,000 ($12,000 less $10,000). 10% of $2,000 is $200, so because you made a profit of $2,000 the broker has certainly earned their commission of $200. Everybody wins and everyones happy.

Now that’s what I call Adding Value.

I don’t think too many people would have a problem paying brokerage in this scenario. I know I wouldn’t…

But, what would happen if the trade went down in value? First of all, you would lose some money from the trade and then secondly, because of the brokers policy to only charge brokerage when you make a profit on the trade, you would not have to pay any brokerage whatsoever for buying and then ultimately selling the shares. The broker would really be putting themselves on the line and fully backing their position.

I don’t think anyone could deny the value being added to clients in this type of business. The main risk would be to the broker and making sure they don’t go out of business by recommending too many stocks that go down in value.

Australia has often in the past been referred to as a lucky country, but now that phrase will have a much more pertinent meaning as we truly are luckier than ever imagined.

The US decline and crash no longer has to affect us.

Their stock market when it crashes in the future again no longer has to affect our stock market, although it may still cause some investors to get nervous until they can become confident that we are largely divorced from the US economy and market.

I mean even the recession we suffered was not based on fundamentals, but largely from the negative sentiment of the US crisis which became a Global Credit Crisis.

This wasn’t necessary as the fundamentals in Australia were solid and now that we’ve escaped the Global Credit Crisis it’s becoming apparent that we need to cease thinking if the US is in trouble that we are somehow as well.

The Global Credit Crisis really should have been called the Imploding of the US, which I’ve been warning about for many years due to the Federal Reserve Banking System they have controlled by the Private Banks, the same banks that caused the problem or offer solutions which largely benefit the banks and rob the American tax payer.

But that’s a whole other article and no longer our concern.

Australia should prepare for a massive immigration boom as well.

And not just from developing nations, but expect large immigration requests from declining Western Nations, in particular the US and the UK.

Australia has the rare opportunity for a sparsely populated country to become not only the envy of the world, but a significant economic power of the 21st Century as we ride the massive wave of prosperity that China and India will create.

Our only concern is our large Current Account Deficit which can create volatility in our exchange rate, which as you know can go from 98 cents US to 63 cents within a matter of months.

Upon first visiting the website an annoying pop-up appears that you don’t seem to be able to close.  There we go, the close text is under the fold, so you don’t see it straigh away and even then it doesn’t appear like a clickable link. Straight away your hit in the face with the text “LIMITED TIME ONLY”. This seems to be more important than the actual headline as it’s far easier to read and is larger than the main header of the page.

This site wins the award for the highest placed order button on a page. You barely have to scroll down at all before you see the order button. Then we get into the copy, after you’ve been urged to order now. A bit strange, but I’ll move on. Upon clicking the order button at the top of the page, I was shocked to discover I was right back at the top of the page. What the?

At a price of $97.00 I think I’ll be steering clear of this one.

Building Your Own Adsense Empire

Looks like the usual resale rights package released to Clickbank. No testimonials. No standout Guaranted. Would be suprised if this product does well.

New Web Traffic Secrets

Upon first glimpse, looks pretty good with a decent headline and banner graphic. The sales copy leaves a bit to desire with a limited amount of text included. They’ve opted to teach the visitor about Web 2.0 via a video that is around 6 minutes duration with a speaker I’ve definately heard before on some of the videos I’ve pre-purchased for resale. The graphic images showing whats included in the product are quite good, with ample explanation of what you’ll actually receive if you choose to purchase the product for $37. A total of 16 videos in all and some enticing bonuses at the bottom of the page. Shortcomings of the site include the lack of testimonials. Couldn’t spot any upon reviewing the site and the failure of the Guarantee to actually stand out on the page. Could be easily missed.

How to Start Your Own Highly Profitable Membership Website

Looks mysteriously like another resale rights product. If I had a dollar for the amount of time I’ve opened a website to see the first sentence of sales copy state “If you’ve ever wanted X, then this will / could be the most important site you ever visit. Come up with something new! Seriously. It’s getting old people. Honestly, the look of the site put me off straight away. At a price of $47.97  I’m not touching this product.

SEO Made Easy Audio Course

Not much to this page. A relatively simple website with about a two minute audio intro explaining the product and what it has to offer.  As the name indicates the product is an SEO audio course that claims to guide you through the whole process behind SEO. Claims SEO is easy and anyone can do it. The page doesn’t look bad, there’s just not much to it. Could be effective, hard to tell. I think a little more effort is needed in the sales copy on the website before there will be too many sales going through this merchants account.

Website Flipping King

Interesting use of prospect name, calls the reader a “Total Dead Beat” within the first few lines of copy. Trying to insinuate how easy it is for anyone to make $1,000 per week online and let other people do all the work for you.

The product sells for $67 and after reading further down the page, it appears to be an ebook with only 50 pages of content. $67 seems a bit steep for a 50 page ebook. It would want to be pretty amazing content. The sales copy appears to cover all of the usual elements, bonuses, testimonials, guarantee that stands out, bullets and proof of income, however with some of the internet marketing products I’ve seen come out recently, don’t think I’ll be spending that much money on a simple ebook again.
